Jason Buchanan is a vibrant Atlantic Canadian entrepreneur and former owner of local Premiere Van Lines, AMJ and Premiere Self Storage businesses. A native of Saint John, New Brunswick, Jason graduated from Mount Allison University with a degree in Commerce, Economics and Marketing in 1996. The Royal Bank of Canada hired him directly after graduation and was fast tracked through multiple management positions in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. After 10 years with RBC, in 2006 Jason’s entrepreneurial spark led him away from banking and into the moving industry. After 16 years in moving, storage and logistics, Jason exited those businesses and jumped into automotive equipment through the purchase of Precision Hydraulics. Jason has served on several governing boards including Premiere Van Lines, Atlas Van Lines, Salvation Army, and the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association. For 2 years, Jason chaired the board of the Better Business Bureau of Atlantic Canada. Currently Jason is highly active with EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) sitting as a member of the EO Regional Council as Membership Growth Director. A husband and father of three children – twin boys and a daughter, the Buchanan clan loves to travel the globe experiencing diverse cultures and sites.

Joel has worked in the automotive equipment industry since 1996 where he worked along side his father Ken. Joel started taking manufacturer training at age 18 and He has been trained as a service provider for over 10 major manufacturer's. Joel has trained his staff to work safely, efficiently and honestly. Providing clients with the best options to receive maximum performance and longevity from their equipment. Joel has been deemed a expert witness by the Supreme Court of Canada in relation to automotive lifts. Joel is a volunteer with NSCC make way Campaign and also has volunteered his time with numerous sports teams. Joel lives in Gaetz Brook with his two children.

Ray started his tenure here in 2008 after working in industrial hydraulics and truck repair he quickly became a leader in the automotive equipment industry. Ray has been factory trained by over 4 major manufacturers and is known for his prompt reliable service. Ray is a fixture at many local shops - providing them with top notch service they are all grateful to have him.  Ray lives in Eastern Passage with his wife Candice and their two children. Ray can be seen at the rink when he's not at work as he coaches both his children with the Dartmouth Whalers.

Jesse started at Precision part time since 1998  - he attended NSCC and became a Red Seal welder with TG welding. Jesse left that profession for the Automotive equipment industry and the rest is history. Jesse is a ALI Certified Inspector, a member of the Forward Authorized Service Team, Factory trained by Coats Wheel Equipment. Jesse is a fixture at Metro Transit facility in Dartmouth. His ability to repair all types of lifts and wheel equipment teamed with his welding and work ethic puts him in high demand. Jesse enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his wife Nicole and their young daughters.

James Is our knowledgeable boots on the ground in New Brunswick. James can be found somewhere in New Brunswick smiling in the drivers seat of our only Ford truck in the fleet (his choice). James is a Red Seal Machinist and has worked in a shop running complex machinery and understands the importance of clearance fit parts. James takes care of our clients in New Brunswick. He is highly skilled at what he does and covers a large geographical area for the company. James  is factory trained by Coats wheel service equipment. James resides in Riverview with his wife Melissa and their two children. He can be found at the race track, fishing lakes and streams, dirt biking and is a volunteer with Scouts Canada.

Cody came to us in August of 2018 after working for Mike Sharpe for over 8 years. Cody has installed over a thousand lifts all over Atlantic Canada. Cody brought us knowledge of installation and techniques used by our competition. Cody has a outstanding work ethic and performs his tasks to please our customers. Cody installs all types of lifts daily, wether its a 100,000lbs parelleogram or a small hobbyist lift no task is to large. Cody lives in Brooklyn with his two children. Cody can be found in the woods four wheeling in his spare time.

Dave came to Precision in January 2019. After spending over 12 years as a lead technician and  lift installer with Mike Sharpe. Dave comes factory trained by Rotary lift and is highly skilled in both light duty and heavy duty lifts,  he has years of experience performing maintenance, installation and warranty. Dave was an immediate asset to our company and will be for years to come. When Dave isn't at work you can find him camping around our beautiful Atlantic provinces or driving his sports car with the top down. 

Randy has been in the lift business for over 25 years now and is a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. Randy worked with Mike Sharpe for over 20 years and grew the business and Rotary brand here in Atlantic Canada. There are not many lifts around that Randy hasn't had his hands on. Randy's knowledge of in-ground lift systems exceeds anyone in the Atlantic Provinces. Randy was a immediate asset to our company and our clients. When Randy isn't at work he can be found driving his Harley around our beautiful province.

Travis has been with our company since 2019 now and has installed, disassembled and relocated hundreds of lifts for our customers all over the Atlantic provinces. Working on a tight schedule with high client expectations has trained Travis to work safely and efficiently in numerous work environments. Travis is very knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive equipment and has become a very well rounded technician in a short time. Travis will continue to thrive with his great attitute and ability to get the job done!   

Ryan has been with our company since 2021 after a few years with our competitor. Ryan has inspected and repaired thousands of pieces of equipment for our customers all over the Atlantic provinces. Working on a tight schedule with high client expectations has trained Ryan to work safely and efficiently in numerous work environments. Ryan is very knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive equipment and has become a very well rounded technician in a short time. Ryan will continue to thrive with his great attitute and ability to get the job done. Ryan lives with his partner and son in Bedford and enjoys range shooting in his spare time.

Marcus joined our company in 2023. Marcus has worked in the Automotive and industrial mechanical trades. Marcus works here in house on anything that runs on air, electric, hydraulic or fuel. Marcus has wellrounded expertise in troubleshooting complex problems and repairing them as necassary.  Working on a tight schedule with high client expectations has trained Marcus to work safely and efficiently in numerous work environments. Marcus is very knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive equipment and has become a very well rounded technician in a short time. Marcus will continue to thrive with his great attitute and ability to get the job done. Marcus lives with his wife and 3 children in Musquodoboit Harbour

When the phone rings at Precision you will be greeted joyfully by Miss Cousens. Tara is our admin and dispatch coordinator. She is organized and prepared to take your calls and emails and insure our communication doesn't get lost in the shuffle of day to day operations. Tara will also call out to you after our service techs have visited you to make sure all clients are happy with our service and machines are running optimal. Tara has a son in Vancouver, in her spare time Tara can be found by the ocean, she loves horseback riding, skating, 4 wheeling and horror movies.

Fergus came to work for us in Spring 2023 after working in the aftermarket vehicle parts industry. Fergus understands the customers need for quick equipment repair and he works with suppliers all over North America to get our technicians and our clients parts they require as quickly as possible. Fergus is a experianced guitarist and enjoys spending time at his cottage. Fergus resides in Dartmouth
